Volva is a teacher, a seeress, a bridge between the earthly and heavenly. She’s accessed the other side since childhood, only learning later in life that, despite what those around her said, it was a gift rather than a curse. She is a healer who has been wounded but empowered. Her lineage connects her to the Szeptucha, or woman whisperers in Poland who use their healing powers for the benefit of their communities.
